Our winner of the week, Derek Trafton, is the singer and bassist of Throne. Throne is a local band from CT that is trying to make it. The three man group is made up of Derek Trafton with lead vocals and bass, Casey Trafton( Derek's younger brother) on drums, and Justin Millar (cousin) on guitar and back up vocals.

Some of the bands influences are: AFI, Silverchair, Incubus, The Used

Their newest CD, Balladry is unfortunately only available in Newbury Comics stores and on their website but its definitely worth a listen
